Stained glass windows
Fascinated by the reflections of light and shadows on the colors of the glass Winston works with stained glass windowssince more than 30 years always trying to find harmony between the design and its environment.
The colors, shapes, style and motives rise from the living space, history, nature, culture and the people whom the windows or sculptures are designed for.
Having lived in Israel for 19 years he is well acquainted with jewish religion and tradition. He is working in close partnership with J.Freiman from Israel whose designs he has translated into hundreds of square meters of glass windows for synagogues in Israel and the USA.
Jewellery
The beads made by Winston, a vast collection of czech glassbeads and beads from all kinds of materials are put together into custom made jewellery by Ruth Neeb-Doull since the early ninties.
In the gallery she sells the jewellery just as well as the glassbeads and jewellery findings. She shares her experience of jewellery making in courses.
Beads
All of Winston's beads are made in the volcano, the simple small ones as well as the big hollow beads, the beads covered with dichroic glass or gold, and the little bottles, too.
Art Objects
My free standing art objects, wall sculptures and pictures are often inspired by my african and middle east background, by my beliefs and way of life. I like to experiment and play with materials, techniques, shapes and colors.
Coming to Germany in 1990 I started to experiment with the fusing of glass and making my first fused plates.
